Q:
What PSP are you using?
A: I am using PSP8 with
the 8.1 upgrade, just a little difference, but
every little bit counts, is what I say!
Q: What can I do for an
av to grab the color?
A: Sometimes the image
you want to color is to exposed, too white, what
you may want to do that I find very helpful is
to add texture to the overall image and then adjust
it by erasing or fading the areas you don't need
texture on. For this texture, there are a few
options you can use, esp: Sharpen, Lucis Art,
Flaming Pear Mr. Contrast, PhotoWhiz Contrast
Master, Topaz Lab Adjust, etc. These are just
a few that you could use to texture the image,
this will help it grab some color!
Q: How do you get your
avies so dark?
A: For the darkness in
my images, I believe everything affects it. First
off, if the image is way explosed or washed out,
you will have trouble. But on your average picture,
the colors you use play and important part. Try
not using too bright of colors, such as BRIGHT
blue, red, yello, green, that just won't work.
On the other hand, you can use dull reds, blues,
greens, yellows, browns and so forth. By dull
I do mean, a shadow shade of pastels colors.
Q: What filters do you
use?
A: My favorite filters
at the moment, which have been for a while now
are, Eyecandy 3 and 4000, Xero XL, Flaming Pear's
Aetherize, KPT3 for textures and backgrounds,
Lucis Art for Textures and that special popping
effect, and finally the built in filters for PSP.
They do wonders when you play with them!
